These pictures aren't in any particular order, since  I'm still trying to figure out how to get them on here! It's been a while since I even attempted to blog, but I thought I could surely figure out how to add a FEW pictures.  Here are just some random shots from the summer months!

Elisabeth loves to drag blankets, or bathrobes, around.  She calls them "nine-nites" and cuddles with then all around the house, at any time of the day.

Apparently I wasn't reading her signals clearly enough, so when I turned around from my work in the kitchen and discovered this, I decided she was ready for a nap.

This is her first success at getting into adult footwear.  Pardon the lack of skirt.  She was getting ready for Sunday dinner and we didn't want her getting her jumper dirty.

Daddy doesn't very often get to rock E. to sleep anymore, so we had to capture the moment.

On Labor Day, Chris and his dad dug around the front porch to lay some tiling pipe.  We've been getting  a little water in the basement, so this was the endeavor to fix the problem.

It was pretty chilly that day.  I bundled E. up and sent her outside with the ball to play on the porch.  I was watching Chris from the other end of the porch, and when I turned around, here E was, holding onto the stair rails, going down the steps.  I was incredulous, since I've tried over and over to get her to go down by herself.  She had to had a bigger reason to do it though.  She was headed after her ball that had floated down the steps.

This summer we were privileged to visit some family back in Pennsylvania.  Here E is with Jonathan Bradford.  They are 6 months apart in age.  The other cousins had a ball pulling them around in the wagon, as well as manufacturing additional seats  (board across the sides.)

Uncle Fain has been here doing some painting, and he enjoyed decorating E with masking tape he'd peeled off the door.  What was really funny was when he gave her a ball of used masking tape.  Ever seen a cat with tape on it's back?  That tells you what E acted like.

Elisabeth wanted to help me load the dishwasher (or unload it, as the case may be.)

We didn't get any good pictures of Elisabeth on her birthday, so this is the best shot we  got!
