The promised added pictures!

I am a terrible  photographer with an ancient camera, so I am slightly intimidated by the amazing photos most people use to blog.  I'm just here to show you a piece of our lives, which, as you can tell, largely revolves around Elisabeth.  These are just some recent classic moments in her life.

Having purse and cellphone, will travel!

It made me smile to think that most of the moments captured involve reading.

Grandpa Jackman and Aunt Carol stopped over before Christmas, and for the first time, E. really made up with Grandpa.  He was eating it up with a spoon, believe you me!

One of E.'s first words was "Bible." (sounds more like "bubble.")  She has her own New Testament which she loves to carry around.  The other evening at a family gathering, a lot of kids were playing with a ball.  Being hopelessly outnumbered and helplessly small, E. hastened to her diaper bag to grab what was hers and hers alone.  Brandishing her sword, the Word of God, she advanced to the fray, preaching the Gospel.

I was thankful to find her learning wisdom from this book a friend lent us.  Now, if only her mama could implement more of the principles, we would be well on our way!

This has been a ritual since she started eating at the table.  Chris misses out on so many poignant moments in E.'s life, but she loves him dearly.

If I feel the urge from time to time, I may just add some things I'm learning about mothering and managing our home.  I so enjoy reading what others are writing online, and I'm amazed by the transparency many share from their hearts.  It's hard for me to go public with things that are terribly personal, particularly when I realize perfect strangers might read them.  But, then again, a stranger is apt to be more forgiving than someone who knows me well!

We'll see what happens!
